Voting

So today is the day I get to exercise my right to vote.  People in the U.S. are always bragging about how important their right to vote is.  I don't know about that anymore.  Is it really a privilege to go somewhere and pick between two equally shitty candidates that share the exact same beliefs on everything of consequence.  At the end of the day they are divided on all of the common sense shit that is no business of the government at all.  Do I really care if you are for or against gay marriage?  Not really because at the end of the day it's none of your business who marries whom.  Do I really care if you are for or against abortion?  Nope, not at all.  You know why?  Because again it's none of your freaking business as a politician.  Do I really care that you are Pro-Gun Mr. Republican?  Not a damn bit, it's already in the fucking Constitution you idiots.  You can have a gun and there's nothing the government can do about it no matter how stupid you are with it.  Do I really care that you are a big fan of Green energy Mr. Democrat?  No, not at all.  Once you get into office you'll not change one damn thing because Big Oil has way too much money they can use to fill your pockets with.

I'll of course be voting anyway.  Why?  Because at the end of the day it's painless, and it's fun to look around at all the people who actually think it matters whether they vote Democrat or Republican.
